The Mid Valley Chevy Club has a long tradition of supporting organizations throughout Stanislaus County with car shows, fund raisers, charitable events, and civic events by showing and educating those interested in classic car restoration and customization. Annually the club supports the "American Graffiti Festival" by hosting four "ParkNshine" car shows at no charge, leading up to the Graffiti Festival Weekend Show and Parade. We fully support the North Kiwanis Club of Modesto with volunteer members who assist in organizing and staging over one thousand cars each year in the downtown, Graffiti Festival Parade. During this past year, our members have not only participated and assisted in regional car shows and the Graffiti week festival, but have offered their time and cars to special shows for the elderly, shows for grammar and pre-schools, and homecomings for various high schools. Our mission is to enjoy the classic car hobby while sharing our knowledge, along with serving our community and setting the standard for future generations.
The Mid Valley Chevy Club is not all work. We do enjoy planning club events during the year which includes caravanning to other regional car shows, planning day trips to points of interest in the Central Valley and beyond, ice cream socials, kick off breakfasts, anniversary brunches, and ending with a huge Christmas Party celebration in December. Our club members and committees work hard to be sure each member gets full enjoyment out of the club activities throughout the year.
We invite you to look at the many activities, the events, and the enjoyment we all share in classic car ownership and restoration, and the ability to be able to drive and enjoy the beauty of the classics of yesterday. We invite you to also look over the requirements for membership and feel free to inquire for more information, or contact one of our many members so as to attend a monthly meeting to get a feel for the club.
Thank you for visiting,
Mid Valley Chevy Club
