Don and Deborah Ballard

The Mid Valley Chevy Club would like to welcome our newest members, Don and  Deb Ballard.
Don and Deb are recent newlyweds, married November 10, 2018.  Don and Deb each have one child.  Jagar is Don's only child, 16 years old, and a junior at Beyer High School, and Eliana is Deb's only child, 14 years old, and in her last year at Roosevelt Middle School.  Rounding out the Ballard household is Deb's neice, Katarina, who fits right in as a natural sister to Jagar and Eliana, and daughter to Don and Deb.  Kat is in her last year of High School and looking to attend Humbolt State University next fall.

Don is employed with Dave Hall Masonry in Ripon as an estimator, and Deb is employed with California Nuggets, responsible for Accounts Payable/Receivable.  Deb has also just recently completed her BA degree and is working on her MBA.

Don has maintained an interest in classic cars dating back to his youth in not only helping his dad restore various classic muscle cars, but also studying auto shop in high school, and restoring and working on his own 71 Chevelle in the mid 1980's.  After graduation from high school, Don also began his affiliation with NASCAR by helping various local drivers at Stockton 99 Speedway, working as a mechanic on their pit crews.  Don also not only pitted for his father later in the 1990's at Madera Speedway, but also drove the family race car in a few events over four years.  Approximately ten years later, Don would partner with a former face buddy at Stockton 99 to drive a new class called Pro4 modified, and competed at various tracks in California over another three year period.

Today, Don enjoys working and showing the family's 1964 Corvair Convertible, and looks forward to enjoying the events and activities of the Mid Valley Chevy Club.
