The Mid Valley Chevy Club takes pride in introducing Earl Williams as our newest member.  Earl was born in Arkansas and raised in Salinas, California.  He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1970 and was stationed in San Diego and Long Beach.  Earl 's professional career included working as an appliance technician and millwright for many years.  It was Earl's brother Larry who introduced him to the car restoring hobby, and together, they restored a 1965 Buick Wildcat and a beautiful 1957 Ford, 2 door hardtop.
As a team, Earl and Larry did body and fender plus mechanical work, that rivaled the most talented professionals.  Earl recently purchased a 1964 Mercury Comet Convertible, winning a nice trophy at the Old Fisherman's Club Car Show.  Earl's present project is a 1964 Comet Coupe that he and Larry purchased just prior to Larry's untimely passing.  Earl is continuing that project in memory of Larry.

Earl is already familiar with many of the Club members, and he is looking forward to the many club activities and meeting new members along the way.  It is with open arms that we welcome Earl Williams to the Mid Valley Chevy Club!!!
